Pawnee City Historical Society and Museum composes of 22 buildings that are filled with more than 25,000 items of pioneer furnishings and memorabilia. Dan Whitney's barn, experimental tailwind airplane and 1600 sets of salt and pepper shakers are some of the collection of items. One building is called Irene leSeur Resource Center where we have information of all the county cemetary records, "Ghost" town information, school records and 500 digitized photos available for purchase of families, schools, Pawnee city buildings and much more.
